Happy April Fools Day!

It's a good day to think about which of your strengths may be fooling you--because they appear to your boss and others as weaknessess. For example, you may know you have high standards which you assume lead you to high performance valued by your team. Unfortunately, what others may actually experience is your inflexibility and overcontrol. They shut down when they see you coming because they know you will always give criticism--and very seldom a pat on the back. When you talk about high standard performance, they step back and give one another a wink.

Today I declare April first as National Clear Sight Day. In recognition of this new holiday, I want each of you to think about or talk with a friend about any of your strengths that may have become blind spots--so you can assure yourself yourself that you will never become the source of the joke of the April fool.

"Time with Claudia is always time well spent. She motivates us to think differently, to push our skills to the next level and openly see and manage our Blind Spots. She has helped us to develop Clear Sight of where we want to go and how to get there. There is a clear difference in my performance level and the increased value I am bringing to the company."
